🌟 Amazing Serendipitous Journeys & Encounters

Stories from the road where synchronicity meets soul,
and every mile sparks transformation.
Every time I travel, something extraordinary unfolds.
Moments that feel out of the ordinary, yet deeply aligned.
Encounters that carry meaning.
Lessons that remind me how deeply connected we truly are.
These are not just travel stories.
They are real stories of life, where unexpected moments, courage, and self-discovery turn ordinary experiences into meaningful turning points.
Through each journey, I share reflections that invite you to recognize the deeper wisdom unfolding within your own life.

As these experiences continue to unfold, this space is evolving with them.
To expand these stories and meet you in a more immersive way,
I am now publishing each journey in full on Medium, where new reflections,
encounters, and moments of synchronicity will continue to live.
This page will continue to offer glimpses.
The full journey now continues there.
Continue the journey on Medium and discover the meaning waiting within your own.

Sometimes the Life That Breaks You Is the One That Awakens You.
What losing everything taught me about Identity, Purpose, and the Courage to Make Amazing Changes®.

Sometimes we hold onto identities, visions, and versions of our lives long after they have already begun falling apart.
There are moments when the ending has to be so painful, so complete, that there is no path back to what once was. The separation becomes final in a way we never would have chosen for ourselves.

For years, many people only knew pieces of the public side of the story.
The Chemistry,The Company. The Community.
Behind a brand so many people connected to was a personal and professional unraveling that very few understood the cost of.

The full story is now live on Medium.
I share real stories about how life changes us in quiet, unexpected ways. Begin where it resonates.

Family is Everything
#hallmarkmovies minus the snow...

I traveled back in time last weekend.
Sort of.
Okay, no hot tub time machine, no DeLorean
…but trust me, it felt like time travel.

This was my first time attending
THE OFFICIAL ODUNDE FESTIVAL.
I took the opportunity to spend time with a long time bestie and a co-author of MACnificently Made Shaletta Kelly.
And let me tell you, it was worth every minute.

I was truly blessed when I sold the TWO copies of MACnificently Made (that I had in my purse) to Jay Books, an enthusiastic book vendor...

Spending quality time in the kitchen with my grandson turned into life lessons through baking.
Teaching him how to make 7-Up (Sprite) biscuits while watching #forever on Netflix we wove a dialogue of family, patience, perseverance, sports and relationships.
As the dough clung to his hands and the counter,
I asked him, “Whatcha gonna do now?”
His eyebrow raised in a questioning way, seeking guidance.

Give Them Their Flowers (Literally)"
Anybody else raised with that unspoken rule?
Don’t show up to people’s houses empty-handed.
In our house, that was more than a rule, it was law.
Where did that rule even come from?
The Bible? The ancestors?
Social etiquette?
I don’t believe my mother made it up, though it definitely felt like it at times.
Quick flashback:
When I launched MACnificently Made in Atlanta, I ran straight to Trader Joe's- Norcross, GA looking for lilies to decorate my book signing table.
Funny enough, I ended up selling my very first copy right
there in the flower section.

***Transparent Moment***
As I continue stepping into visibility…
I heard a song recently that didn’t just move me…it activated me.

“I was born to walk through the fire, my mama raised me to be…
”(India Arie's powerful song and lyrics)

Like a sacred whisper from the women who came before me, it said:
“Girl, stop hiding. Get out there.
You’ve got to continue the mission.”

Truth is, when you start healing… when you start learning boundaries…
when you learn to protect your peace…
it can feel safer to stay tucked away.
